Greece is for Lovers

I hate coming back from holidays!! I went to Greece for a few weeks, had great time there chilling and soaking up the sun while chewing homemade COOKIES..

While there I came across a cool design team based in Athens. A creative twist on conceptual everyday products, my favourite project by far is the ‘Granny tunes’.

You should check their website

Last night @Royal Opera House, Monkey: Journey to the West

Last night I went to the Royal Opera House where the latest project from the guys behind Gorillaz, Monkey: Journey to the West is taking place. I was blown away by it, it was brilliant. The music was great, visually it was stunning and the acrobats/martial artists were awesome.

Journey to the West It is a new opera directed by Chen Shi-Zheng, composed by Damon Albarn with visual concept, design and animation by Jamie Hewlett. Monkey is based on the ancient Chinese legend and combines Music, Animation, Chinese acrobatics and martial arts to tell the story of Monkey’s quest for enlightenment.

Don’t miss it if you can still find tickets available…

Horiyoshi 3 a true legend

When you think about Japanese tattoo, one artist must come into your mind, and that name is Horiyoshi III, the greatest master of Irezumi, the traditional handmade technique that simply means “Insert Ink”. I just got a new book with selected artwork by him and it looks awesome..I’m also trying to arrange a meeting and get a piece from the master when I travel to Tokyo.
