2008 London Tattoo Convention

Through the ages, tattoos have traditionally been found upon the arms of outsider folk like sailors and prisoners as well as badges of honour and solidarity upon the skin of soldiers and nobility. These days, it’s all about fashion for some people.
Last weekend the third International London Tattoo Convention attracted thousands of fans and I was one of them
Up to 200 world-class tattooists were selected from a pool of 1000 applicants worldwide, including Tim Hendricks, Horitaka and Tin Tin and well as Phil Kyle and Nikole Lowe.
The convention was good this year, lots to see and some ‘interesting’ people, great artists and some odities too.
