Went to ‘Lovestain’ exhibition the other day to see some of Miss Van’s incredible illustrations and artwork. The girl is one of the masters and it definitely worth the visit!

A native of Toulouse, and resident of Barcelona, Miss Van began to paint her sultry characters on city streets during the 1990s. Over time, her work has found space on gallery walls, her figures known as “Poupes” living as both street and fine art.

The exhibition is running at StolenSpace (91 Brick Lane, London, E1) through October 18, 2009.
