Sleeveface craze!
If you didn’t already know, Sleeveface is the latest craze sweeping the more silly sections of the internet. Basically, you hold an LP up to your face and in such a way that you blend in to it. Sounds crap, looks hilarious.
It’s a phenomenon that, in only 18 months, has grown from a game between friends to a global internet craze and now a book and exhibition.
In April 2007, Rostron was DJ-ing in a Cardiff bar with web developer Carl Morris when, in a bored moment, Morris held the cover of Paul McCartney’s McCartney II up to his face and Rostron took a picture on his mobile phone.
They posted the picture on a social networking site, came up with the name Sleeveface, and almost immediately a craze was born.
